The September meeting took place at The Guide Hall, as usual, and we were given a fascinating talk by our web site manager, Chas Cooke
In an informative and enlightening talk and presentation using his computer based slide show, including short films and many photographs, along with his normal humorous style of speaking, Chas gave us an hour of life in submarines. Combined with photos and a very active question and answer session, Chas kept the audience spellbound for the duration. The presentation was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Following on from his triumphant talk Chas then went on to have not one, not two but three winning tickets drawn in the night’s raffle. To be fair he did have the second and third redrawn. Nice of him to give others a chance to win too!
